QA Engineer (Mobile & Web)

Join nyra health in building AI-powered neurorehabilitation software that helps clinics, therapists, and patients worldwide. As our QA Engineer, you’ll own the testing lifecycle for our therapy app myReha and our web platform nyra insights. You’ll plan and execute manual and automated tests, design and maintain UI test suites, manage test cases, triage bugs, and ensure release readiness. You’ll collaborate closely with Product and Engineering, bringing strong QA expertise across iOS, Android, and web, with great communication and organizational skills. Experience with tools like Tricentis, Jira/Linear, Git, and Firebase is ideal.

If you want to ship high-quality, impactful software in a mission-driven, collaborative startup environment, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Company

At nyra health, we’re building software that makes a real difference. Our tools help clinics, therapists, and patients in their neurorehabilitation journey.

Our products - myReha (therapy app) and nyra insights (web platform for patient management and analysis) - deliver evidence-based, AI-powered neurotherapy at scale.

If that resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do

  • Own the testing lifecycle across mobile (iOS & Android) and (down the line) web: plan, execute, and continuously improve manual & automated testing.
  • Help design and maintain automated UI tests (e.g., end-to-end smoke/regression suites) and help select the right tooling.
  • Create and manage test cases with a strong overview of scenarios and coverage.
  • Run and coordinate testing (internal or external, as will be needed), track outcomes, and feed learnings back to teams.
  • Pull request proofing & release readiness: review pull requests from a QA perspective, verify acceptance criteria, and gate releases.
  • Risk-based testing: quickly smoke/fully test relevant areas when specific code changes land; track “safe areas” of the app over time.
  • Bug triage & reporting: log clear, reproducible issues; partner with engineers and product to prioritize fixes.

What you’ll bring

  • Hands-on QA experience across mobile and web, with confidence in both manual and automated work.
  • Strong organizational skills and an eye for edge cases. You’ll work with Product to understand what’s shipping, ensure features are testable, and track them through release.
  • Familiarity with tools like Tricentis (or similar), Jira/Linear, Git, and Firebase.
  • Experience testing iOS and Android apps; familiarity with modern web testing frameworks.
  • Clear, direct communication with developers and PMs. We’re straight talkers and value honesty and clarity - you should too.
  • Fluency in English; at least B1 level German.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CE-marked or regulated (medical) products
  • Understanding of accessibility and security testing.
  • Startup or scale-up experience.
  • Ability to write basic test code (no need to write production app code).
